The new web presence for the Tuckahoe, New York Special Education PTA will be used to promote upcoming events, as a resource for families seeking information and references, and as a hub for communications between the members of the organization.

It’s also an illustration of the capabilities of WordPress.com. The free hosting tier offered on WordPress.com isn’t appropriate for most businesses, but for a community organization like the PTA (or the Boy Scouts), the pros (no monthly hosting charge) far outweigh the cons.
